The stock breaks page allows you to view stock breaks for each brand/category/product, including both occurred and forecasted breaks based on current sales and replenishment trends.
The aim of this section is to prevent lost sales due to unawareness of stock breaks.
To access this page, in the Bright Market site, go to Purchases > Stock Breaks.

💡 Stock Breaks
A stock break, or stockout, occurs when a product is no longer available in inventory, thus becoming unavailable for sale at the time of customer demand. This situation can result in lost sales, diminished customer satisfaction, and potentially harm the brand's reputation if customers consistently encounter unavailable products.

Stock Out Details
The Stock table contains information about each article/SKU in the catalog and the analysis of their inventory, including:
- Product Name: The name of the product as it appears in the catalog. This field helps users quickly identify the item and is often the first point of reference when managing stock.
- SKU (Stock Keeping Unit): A unique identifier for each product variant in the catalog. This code helps distinguish different items or variations (such as size or color) of the same product, facilitating precise inventory management.
- Current and in-transit stock for the SKU
- Current Stock: The number of units currently available in the inventory.
- In-Transit Stock: The number of units that have been ordered but have not yet been delivered. This field provides insight into upcoming stock levels and helps in planning for potential stock-outs or excess inventory.
- Forecasted stock break date: The predicted date when the stock of this SKU is expected to run out, based on current sales velocity and available inventory. This forecast helps in proactive replenishment planning to avoid stock outs. See how this is determined.
- Active Replenishment Orders for That Product: lists any ongoing purchase orders for the product that have not yet been completed. This includes orders that are either being processed or are in transit. Subfields for Active Replenishment Orders:
- Number of Units Included: Specifies how many units of the product are included in each active purchase order. This detail helps in understanding how much stock is expected to arrive and when.
- Estimated Completion Date: The expected date when the order will be fully delivered. This helps in planning and ensures readiness to accommodate incoming stock, particularly important for products with high turnover rates or seasonal demand.

You can select the articles/SKUs that you want to replenish, and it will take you to the order creation page for purchasing.
